Religion Curriculum Our religion curriculum teaches students about Christ's all-forgiving love. As teachers model an attitude of Christian kindness and respect, students see that those principles are the basis for all self-discipline. Students participate in daily devotions and memory work, and attend a weekly chapel to experience corporate worship.
Chapel Once a week, the Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade classes gather to join in a worship setting. As the students learn proper behavior for meaningful worship, they participate in songs, prayer and hear a Christ-centered message that can be applied to life. Under the direction of their teachers, students have taken the opportunity to plan and present a chapel service for the rest of the school. Student-led chapels are always well done and provide a great hands-on experience for the student. Our parents and grandparents are always welcome to attend chapel services.
Projects Service projects are designed to benefit people, or organizations, in our community. Projects are organized to help students have an understanding of life around them, teaching them how to be involved in some way to help people when they are in need. Providing items for hygiene kits, collecting clothes and toys, and singing Christmas carols at retirement homes are a few ways our students have shared Christ's love with others.
