Classes begin in the High School at 7:50 am and end at 2:50 pm. The High School uses an eight period day. Classes are taught by qualified teachers each specializing in their content area. Students move from room to room every 50 minutes stopping at their locker between classes to gather the books and materials needed for the next class. Students are scheduled into six classes plus a religion class based on their personalized four-year academic plan for graduation.
Students eat lunch together in the cafeteria where they may purchase a hot lunch or bring a brown bag from home. A computerized checkout system allows students to purchase lunches using their I.D. cards.
After school, students are allowed to socialize in the hallway or go to the library for some extra study time while waiting for their ride home. Snacks are also available after school in the snack bar. Most activities and athletics meet after school in designated areas.
