You may bring these forms to the first practice. These forms can be found in the athletic section of the LSA website (www.lutheransouth.org). Parents of boys that are going to play football, please e-mail your contact information to Coach Himmler (garyhimmler@lea-hou.org). Coach Himmler will be e-mailing more information to you during the first week of August. Middle School Soccer, Volleyball and Cross Country practices will start during the first week of school. Information will be available at Book Day. Odds and Ends: Middle School Hours: 7:50 am to 3:00 pm Classes will begin at 7:50 am. Please make sure that your student has plenty of time to go to their locker and prepare for their day prior to the start of the school day. Drop off and Pickup:The LSA administration is working on an efficient drop off and pick up plan. As soon as that plan is set, you will be notified via e-mail. Please do not park or wait for an extended period of time in the narrow drive-thru lane in front of the Building A. If parking is needed, please park in either of the Building A parking lots.
Used Uniform Donations: If you have Millswear or Lands End uniform items that you have outgrown or will no longer be needing, please consider donating them back to LSA. The Middle School PTL will be accepting these items through out the summer. While we are using a new uniform company, current items that meet the appropriate guidelines will be "grandfathered" in for next year. The Middle School PTL will be facilitating the resale of these items in August. Items can be dropped off in the MS office. MS Library Donations: As we prepare for our new Middle School library, we would like to invite LSA families to donate books that are in good condition and are middle school appropriate. We are looking for fiction, non-fiction and reference books. If you have any books that you would like to donate, please bring them to the MS office during summer office hours (8am-3pm).
Lockers: If you plan on purchasing organizational items (shelves) for your student's locker, please remember that all personal items must be able to fit inside of their locker during the school day. When planning, make sure to reserve space for their backpack/book bag. Backpacks with wheels DO NOT fit into the locker. Class Schedules: Class schedules will be given to students on Book Day.
Aftercare: Aftercare is available each day from 3:00 - 6:00. Aftercare will be held in Rm. 111. All students not picked up from school by 3:15 are required to check into aftercare. Parents must physically sign their children out of aftercare. If you have any questions, please call the school office between 8:00 and 3:00 pm.
